RAINDOG is a five-piece garage rock band from Montreal, Canada. Sophie Pizio (guitar/vocals),Lena Slanisky (piano/Vocals), Frisco Lee (lead guitar), Pablo Garcia (drums) and Malcolm Tremblay(bass) all work at music hub Bar de Courcelle in Saint-Henri. They quickly bonded over their love of music.
Fusing multi-part harmonies and lyrics so honest you can’t get them out of your head. RAINDOG’s sound draws elements from grunge and indie rock, inspired by The Breeders to Big Thief, The Stooges to Parquet Courts. Their songs and live performances evoke an uncanny atmosphere that harnesses raw energy, longing, love, and heartbreak. RAINDOG’s infectious stage energy and keen observations about everyday life have been captivating audiences across Montreal’s indie music scene. RAINDOG has just released an eight-track LP titled “C’est Pas Grave” on June 13 2025.
